Due to a strained left calf, Granger missed the first 25 games of the 2013–14 season. On December 20, Granger received a standing ovation from Indiana supporters when he made his season debut during the Pacers’ 114-81 victory over the Houston Rockets in the first quarter.

They also chanted his name when he finally made his first basket, a 3-pointer early in the fourth. He made 29 appearances (2 starts) for the Pacers in 2013–14, playing 22.5 minutes per game while averaging 8.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.
